how hard is it to just put aside a small fraction of your ill-gotten gains and give it to for real non-profits? apparently too hard for the grifter-in-chief.
Reminds me very very strongly of the “Blind fund” joke.
You don’t know it? Okay:For several weeks there was a jar on the checkout line at the hardware store labeled “Blind fund”. Eventually, it got full and was replaced with a sign: “Thank you. The blinds are great!”
So, why am I reminded (aside from the jar itself of course)? Because that family is totally blind to the needs of anyone other than themselves.
I think most of us have read about the Billionaire using the Trust Foundation charity donations (he had NOT put in a penny in many years)— but he felt comfortable paying his legal fees with the money others donated — he also purchased portraits of himself for $10,000 each and bought a football signed by Tim Tebow for $12,000 and was caught trying to bribe State Attorney Generals to stop investigating his Trump University. There is NO longer a Trump University and after taking office in the WH he settled that Fraud Lawsuit for $25 Million. Wonder if any other presidents had fraud lawsuits while in office. Then while he was in office he raided Don Jrs.’ Charity for Sick Children. He found out that Jr. did not charge the charity for a day at one of his clubs so he just went and took $ out of the charity. Experts in Charities said he took way more that he should have (if he should have). How petty can you be — putting your sticky little fingers into the money that is intended for sick children?? Oh, remember how he pledged to give one million dollars to a veterans’ charity because he could not put on his big boy pants and participate in a debate — because that women who bleeds from somewhere was going to be there. Well after the debate on reporter kept asking what charity he gave it to — no answer. The reporter did NOT give up and months later Trump took $ out of the Trump Foundation to pay off his promise — in other words HE did not even part with a penny. He used other peoples’ donations to cover his promise!!
“Trump” and “Charity” is a classical contradictio in adiecto. Any person having an IQ higher than room temperature probably knew it is about a slush fund. Ok, nobody would have expected it would be for the household expenditure… but the big T can surprise us anytime and again by lowering the bar to unprecedented levels.
Hmmmmm. I wonder why the NY AG hasn’t looked at the Clinton Foundation.
The Bill, Hillary, and Chelsea Clinton Foundation’s tax returns from the year 2014 show that despite the organization’s classification as a charitable organization, in fact most of the profits went to employees, and only 3% were donated to the various causes the foundation claims to support.
As a charitable organization, the Clinton Foundation’s tax returns are publicly available from the National Center for Charitable Statistics’ website.
In the 65-page 2014 form, the organization’s total revenue was listed as $177, 804,612.00, with the total grants to charity amounting to $5,160,385.00.
Meanwhile, the organization’s expenses amounted to $91,281,145.00.
This number included salaries for 486 employees ($34,838,106.00), fundraising fees ($850,803.00), and other expenses ($50,431,851.00).
The Clinton Foundation’s 2014 net assets/ fund balances totaled $332,471,349.00, up $85,171,891 from 2013’s tax return.
Average salary is about $71K, but I am particularly intrigued the $50 Million in “other expenses”.
The grants vs revenues speaks for itself. Less than 3%.

The Trump family believes that charity begins at home so they made the Trump Foundation their own personal piggy bank
