Benny Hill used to have a similar gag: “What’s he got that I haven’t got?” Well, he has nice, wavy hair. “Well, I have nice, wavy hair!” Well, he’s got strong, white teeth. “Well, I have strong, white teeth!” Well, he’s got brains and intelligence. “Well, I have strong, white teeth!”
I find it interesting that I mentally hear Patty as she was originally drawn speaking with a little girl’s voice; but Patty as she is drawn here speaking with a young woman’s voice. I can’t imagine that the difference in ages was that much.
