I miss the neighborhood I grew up in – about 20 streets then cross over a 2 lane and another 15 or so streets, could walk for hours, most were flat. Then I lived in small neighborhoods, were 4-8 streets to walk, now I live in country, no place to walk, so shoulders on the road. When I win lottery, I’ll move back to old neighborhood, it’s still very nice of course I’d have to buy a lotto ticket to possibly win ;-)
I remember thinking “Wow, people live here!” when on a field trip with my grade 4 class to Vancouver Island. The first time I was aware there was a world beyond my little neighbourhood

And they’re all made out of ticky-tacky, and they all look just the same….

Hey, if the plural of mouse is mice, shouldn’t the plural of house be hice? She’s saying it wrong!

A lot of these early strips didn’t really have a punchline

Scary, if you think about it. Endless urban sprawl.
