When my daughter was little, I had never, EVER cut her hair. (Her first haircut was at 12). Anyway, she had this LOOOOONG “Rapunzel” braid down her back. Being a pip-squeak, it was quite something to see. I used to hold her braid when we walked in a crowd, rather than her hand, which I could not reach because she was so tiny. (She’s 36 now and she kept the long braid when we lopped it off in one piece).

Years later, when he is famous and rich, she will claim that he grabbed her tail.

Those are coonskin caps they’re wearing; not their actual hair..

Linus didn’t want to hold her hand, so the tail of the coonskin cap works.

Look at Lucy being the concerned big sister! Frosty wasn’t the only one with a magic hat.

Can’t recall seeing a girl with a coonskin hat.

Wonder if this strip first appeared during the Davy Crockett serial rerelease in 1960 on ABC?

That tail comes in handy.
