Charlie Brown with ax probably doesn’t want to any chances of the tree eating his kites.

First of all, Charlie Brown, this will take years, second, why do you want to do it?

Patience, Charlie. You need to learn patience. Don’t worry, life will teach you.

I went by the house I lived in years ago, and found that the 8 inch high White Pine seedlings I had planted roughly 1980 were now over 40 feet high. And it gave me a good feeling. The Black Walnuts I had planted, which might now be worth over several thousand dollars per tree as veneer logs, had unfortunately (for the current owners) been cut down long ago. Oh, well.
