    Sophie, really you shouldn’t judge cats by standards that dogs are judged by, just as dogs are not judged by cat standards. You can keep your people active; a purring cat on a person’s lap can sooth his/her troubled mind. A household with both cat(s) and dog(s) truly has a better chance to be happy and healthy.
