Is that the sacred fruit fly spirit taking form in the last panel?

I brought in fruit flies on some grapes last summer. Drove me nuts, got into my house plants, you couldn’t leave anything out. The answer was traps. Put an aging piece of fruit, or some cider vinegar in a jar, cover with plastic wrap, and poke a small hole for the flies to enter. Cleaned them up in a week.

After watching what my dog loves to “Taste Test” the strip is not strange at all ;-)

Wow, eating and desecrating all at the same time. Who knew dead fruit fly’s were both tasty and testy.

That is SO gross! But… that’s a dog.

If you happen to get infested, just put a couple of drops of dish soap in a small container of vinegar…leave it out for a few days and problem solved.

In all my years of buying fruit, I have never even seen a fruit fly. I didn’t know bringing them in to your house was a thing. I guess I’ve been lucky.

Look out when ‘bagging’ Poncho’s _droppings…a proper disposal is necessary too.
