Robert Mueller volunteered, went to Vietnam, and was a highly decorated war hero.
Trump avoided Vietnam by claiming “bone spurs” (although he had been active in college sports and playing soldier at military school) but supported the war as long as someone else was sent to die in his place.
Trump, who has been a Democrat, Independent, Libertarian and only recently hijacked a RepubliCON party of gullible suckers who easily welcomed his snake oil scams, has a long history of lying.
Mueller is a life-long Republican with an impeccable reputation as a straight shooter and has never been caught in dishonesty or scandal of any kind.
In a long history as a prosecutor and head of the FBI, Mueller has never been caught in any wrongdoing.
Trump has repeatedly been sued for fraud and was denied a Las Vegas casino permit based on moral grounds. And that doesn’t even begin to touch on his personal economic crimes — repeated “strategic” bankruptcies, fraud lawsuits that he had to settle or moral issues such as paying off porn stars and Playboy nude models to cover up affairs while his third wife was recovering from recent childbirth.
The “moral majority” (which is actually neither) cannot reconcile their utter disgusting hypocrisy.
Unfortunately for him, and the rest of us, he’s as incapable of telling the truth as he is in carrying out the duties of the Office of the President of the United States of America.
Wouldn’t it be truly great if the DNC, RNC et al screened candidates that were committed to the honor system and would neither themselves lie nor allow their peers in government to dishonor truth? Why do we allow those who want to win by any means possible anywhere near government positions? Have we turned into a nation of self-flagellating masochists?
I’m STILL waiting for a reasonable and credible response from the Republicans to one simple question: “If Trump is 100% INNOCENT, like he claims, WHY is he SO terrified about sitting down with Mueller or even a Congressional Committee and ANSWERING THEIR QUESTIONS honestly and truthfully?” If he’s innocent, he should have NOTHING TO HIDE, right???
