When my boys were growing up, a refrain I occasionally heard from them was, “That’s DIFFERENT!”, when I would compare THEIR STUPIDITY to someone else’s by way of showing them how WRONG they were.
We are now hearing THAT SAME REFRAIN from a "supposed " adult about the actions of several within his administration. And my reaction is the same as when MY children used to try it on me – “Yes it IS THE SAME – the ONLY difference is that you’re too childish to see it!”
