The new House has to be much more intent on pursuing real problems, not the ones Republicans have wasted millions of dollars on phony “investigations”. There’s plenty of real stuff to expose.
McConnell has had opportunity and means. I don’t understand his motive. What drives him to trample on rule of law, fair play, and American values? What will be gain for himself? What will he avoid having revealed?
Donnie the Dotard is an imbecile, and dangerous because of the position he’s in, but Mitch McConnell is the purest distillation of evil that’s ever corrupted the Senate, and thus the U. S. of A.
Yertle the Turtle McConshell is basically a senile, corrupt, bribe-taking, “Good-Ol’-Boy” Southern politician and wholly owned and operated subsidiary of Koch Brothers Enterprises and the Coal Lobby, and he has been for DECADES!
Hopefully the Dems in KY can get a better candidate in 2020 . Allison Grimes said things like “I love guns I love coal!”. When faced with two candidates saying the same thing, most people will pick the one that has more power to bring federal money to the state. Turns out she has a few scandals in her current position too.
Old (Mitch, Mitch…Son of a ..Gun) has no love for Donnie John, but he DOES have a deep-seated hatred of the “Rule of Law” which to this point, has kept (or at least made more difficult) the furtherance of his political goals.
You just have to understand that, to today’s crop of Republicans, such terms as “rule of law”, “even-handedness”,“level playing field”and “transparency” have become epithets, while “separate-but-equal” and “knowing their place” are becoming common currency, at least privately!
Senator Addison Mitchell McConnell Jr. has no intention of “protecting” the Mueller Investigation or ‘allowing’ it to be protected. He’s almost finished resculpting the American Federal Judiciary into a Conservative (Federalist) bastion, totally impregnable to attacks by ‘progressives’ and others who still have the “altogether quaint” notion of a “fair and impartial” judiciary! He wishes no distractions at this critical juncture!
I don’t like term limits. To create a natural one would make it hard to be a politician, easy to quit. Low pay. Dorm rooms like in college. Only $20,000 a year pay. You will run on what you have done. Not on what you have said. That will limit it. Also if you are a lobbyist then you can’t run and to become a Congress person you would have to wait 10 years of not working in it to have a chance to run. Shut down that revolving door on this corruption.

McConnell cares only for the Greedy Old Pricks (GOP), power, corruption, greed, beating down the good people (Democrats), etc.

I don’t think their “official pay” is what motivates them. It just might be their “under the table pay”.
