Wasn’t the musical “Les Miz?” Also, I think that’s a terrible story to have made into a musical, but that’s just me, I Am Sure.

Being able to sing a dramatic ballad won’t do you much good for a role like the Cat in the Hat.

Is that how auditions work? Dress as a character in the play and recite words or sing a song from some other play?
