Funny how none of the Trump supporters who claim to support the rule of law and who used to accuse Obama of violating the Constitution have no problem with Trump firing Sessions and replacing him with someone who wasn’t confirmed by Congress. Rosenstein should be the person to replace Sessions until Congress can confirm a new AG. Rosenstein may have appointed Mueller as special council to investigate Trump, but he was confirmed by Congress to the Assistant AG position. Once again, Republican voters show they don’t care when Republican leaders break the law.
I have to wonder if Whitaker understands that his previous statements and forthcoming actions as acting AG can now make him a target of the investigation for obstruction. I know I said this in another ’toon but I think it bears repeating.
