He’s only in his 50’s… ATMs have been around for 40 years! My bank now has “MyTMs.” Giant machines that replace tellers. You can withdraw up to $10,000, make deposits with no envelope, and if there’s a problem, a live person appears on a screen to assist you.

And a bank I use could not find an IRA distribution that was supposed to be in my checking account.

When he was in hospital, my husband finally learned how to text from his phone, (after Number 1 Son assured him it was the easiest way to reach us after midnight,) but Hubby still refuses to use an ATM. He reminds me of the old guy at the last election, who insisted our precinct’s optical scanner was really a shredder in disguise.

When all the tech goes down, who will still know how to multiply two numbers together.

Thanks to Facebook, people we only suspected of being idiots now give us ample evidence.

I’m 27 and I’ve never used an ATM either… I’ve got online banking, a debit card, a credit card, and occasionally I even carry some cash.
