If I owned a legitimate business, I would not advertise on TV for two weeks prior to the election. People are so turned off by the political ads, they’ll ignore any ad.
My wife and I eat dinner and then pause Jeopardy while we clean up. We fast-forward through the mud-slinging and the propaganda. We call it “trash compacting.”
I wish I could take some of those ads out with the kitchen waste to put it on my compost heap. But then again, the manure content is so high, it would probably combust spontaneously.
OT, but I’m saying it here first. Trump authorized the use of deadly force against, “The Mob.” It concerns me that to turn back a thousand or so marchers, he’s mobilized more than a Division and a half troops. That is not an efficient use of force. It is a response well out of proportion to the “threat.”
All it takes is one anarchist mingling with the crowd to fire off a shot (or firecracker) in any direction or some frightened, ill-trained (for dealing with civilians in a non-combat situation), trigger-happy soldier and the massacre is on. Too bad most people are too young to remember Kent State. You don’t send soldiers to do police work.
Trump, of course, will deny responsibility and put the blame on the military or someone else. He can deny it all he wants, but the blood of innocent lives will be on his hands.

The ones in our front yard seem to be plasticised. I don’t think they will rot anytime soon.
