I made a tire swing for my daughter.. a large earth moving tire hung flat.. (6 foot diameter) Kids soon learned that by winding it up.. then getting on.. would unwind with such speed they were thrown off.. Fun.. till one got hurt as she hit the support.. So.. changed the design by adding a swivel.. No more winding up.. not a popular move.
