If Jimbo is grilling shrimp. I am surprised every cat within sniffing distance wasn’t in the yard.
Happens to me every time I BBQ salmon, the neighborhood cats will even risk entering the yard with my dogs to try and mooch some fish

I will also use the “sad puppy face” if grilled shrimp is involved.
Don’t give in, bad for kitty.
He doesn’t have enough shrimp on the grill & plate combined for the family, let alone the cat. :)
Kittens, however, will NEVER refer to it as a sad puppy face.
