My Dad (super organized), had a little notebook with every account he ever had online (from important banking to silly stuff) and each had a different password that he recorded. I have no idea why he needed different passwords for the stupid stuff…but anyway, we were SO happy to have the notebook after he passed away! Note to self: “Be Like Dad”
Many years ago when I bought a Gateway computer there was a company that allowed me to store my passwords. It was great until they went belly-up and I lost all of them!
Most browsers have free utilities that save your passwords for your sites, as do your operating systems. All you have to do is pull them up. Mac or Windows.

Write them in an address book, but hide it from your kid.

I use LastPass and have a different password for each site. I also have my backup little black book.
