Actually, so would I, Clay, but I’m assuming, and maybe Conservatives are assuming as well, that the list of “approved” Supreme Court nominees provided by the kingpins in the Federalist Society, will ALL have a ‘disqualifying’ fault or two hiding in their closet!
Since getting a Justice on the court that is reliably anti-Roe, anti-Social Security, anti-Medicare, anti-Medicaid, anti-civil rights, anti-Obamacare is the thrust here, it’s not surprising that such disqualifiers as “misogynistic”, “sexual predator”, “Racist” and “Bigot” would fail to be noted (actually, those disqualifiers appear to be the ‘water’ in which most Conservative “Fish” swim, so they can’t truly be considered ‘disqualifiers’, at least, to them!)
Bottom line, here, is that a Conservative Court System has been the dream of Conservatives for over 40 years, and, now, it’s within their grasp! Getting elected to public office was always a ‘perk’, but the goal of a conservative court was NEVER forgotten – and now it’s within their grasp.
Have you ever gone out “horseback riding” and, after a long and grueling day (for the horse), started back toward the barn? Once the horse has ‘sensed’ the barn, the hay and the water, have you ever tried reining the horse in? Conservatives are like that horse and they’re going to get their conservative justice come hell or high water! (or pesky little ‘bumps’ in the road such as "sexual predator allegations, as a North Dakota Republican Senatorial aspirant described Dr. Ford’s accusations!)
It is insulting to men and women both that the gop senators are hiring a woman to ask their questions. Men can ask civil questions. They want a female to do their dirty work instead.
I would prefer Dem Senators who follow the rules of the Senate. Senators who don’t play desperate games with people’s lives and careers. Senators who refuse to cater to blatant character assassination schemes.

I would prefer a nominee who hasn’t lied under oath.

I’d prefer a SCOTUS nominee that remembers that their rulings are based on the U.S. CONSTITUTION, and NOT on their Party’s Platform.

Ask his wingman, Mark Judge, to vouch for him under oath. …problem solved.
Since he brought out his calendar and showed he had no plans for sexual assault that day, we could check Brett’s diary, plans do change.
Or we could poll his class at Yale and ask, “what Mario character most resembles his judicial branch.”

Some sexual predators go to jail. Others become Supreme Court justices.

I would like a clean nominee who cares about humans, like Garland.

I prefer a Supreme Court nominee who wasn’t nominated by history’s worst $h!t-stain on the underwear of American politics!
