Ectually, I do something similar. But it’s a plastic pumpkin with a gravestone sign behind it saying “Help Yourself”. (The kids in our neighborhood are pretty good about only taking one or two pieces and leaving the rest.) Since I’m usually otherwise occupied on Halloween, this saves time and trouble.
Nancy needs to be more generous. After all, she’s really exchanging a few kinds of candyfor lots of kinds when she goes out trick or treating at the neighbors’ houses. It’s a fair exchange.
