As Bob Woodward reports in his new book, Trump’s personal attorney, John Dowd, tried to hold practice sessions to rehearse tough question that could come from Mueller, but Trump kept telling lies, contradicting himself and got frustrated and exploded. Dowd and another attorney then actually met with Mueller, reenacted the rehearsals, and said they could not allow him to be interviewed because he was not capable of telling the truth.
This is beyond pathological. It is delusional and dangerous.
Then Dowd tried to explain to Trump (who still wanted to be interviewed) why he couldn’t. Trump said he would be a good witness. Dowd replied “You’re NOT a good witness. It is either DON’T testify or an orange jump suit” (that would go well with his skin tone). And the next day Dowd resigned.
If the psychosis is strong enough, the victim doesn’t have “telling the truth” as an available option. One has to be able to spot the truth before they can tell it.
One of my brothers-in-law agreed with Trump that they would try to trap him in a “perjury trial”. He said lawyers twist your words so that “the sun is shining” can be turned against you. I pointed out that Secretary Clinton was on the stand for days, and was never accused of perjury. She simply told the truth; no need to remember what she had said, no stuttering or stammering. She told the truth, even if it didn’t make her look good. If Ken Starr couldn’t find perjury, it was there to find. “All Trump needs to do it tell the truth.” BIL looked at me and grunted, then went back to his TV set.
I’m not sure he even knows what the truth IS about half the time. He shows signs of outright delusion – when something disagrees with what he wants, he simply believes what he wants. Look at his assertions on the crowds at his Inauguration, when it was PATENTLY clear it was a lie. He’s been caught out in lies over and over again. He’s even contradicted himself, and shows no signs whatsoever that he is even aware of it, let alone concerned about it.
Trump has lied about Nike’s stock after the “boycott” where people who like when police shoot black people burned their own shoes.
Conservatives tweet and retweet their rebukes of Nike for choosing to use Colin Kaepernick in its latest “Just Do It” campaign. The ad features a headshot of the former NFL quarterback with the words: "Believe in something. Even if it means sacrificing everything. This Nike outrage is not based on principals anymore than pro-life who turns a blind eye to pedophiles in churches and politicians who systemically exploit young children. So, those who use image of fallen heroes under the guise of respecting the military should probably do an audit of their allegiances, just to make sure their reasoning adds up.

Since they are getting rid of nikes, can Colin Kaepernick become spokesman for the AR 15?

Trumpie’s a tramp.
He thinks he’s a scamp.
With tweets he doth rant,
Though with knowledge he’s scant.
He wails and he flails,
And tells such tall tales,
That months of confessions
Won’t erase his transgressions.
