Wow… even for Payne this is utterly deplorable. But Drumpf emboldens them to just make up whatever they want and incite as much hate as they want. Who cares about facts and reality. Go to Hell Henry.
How dare a black athlete actually use his constitutionally protected rights. And how dare a private-sector business actually support him. Does that give you fits, Henry?
This cartoon is perpetuating a complete misapprehension of the purpose and intent of athletes taking a knee. It was, and is intended as a respectful protest. You a supporting an outrageous, racist lie. Shame on you, Mr. Payne! You are allowing yourself to be used by people who are determined to destroy America. Wake up!
Meanwhile, as I understand it, Nike is doubling down. They have a new advertisement they are going to run for the start of the NFL season. I don’t think they are too concerned about the old white men, after all, their target sales demographic are the Millennials.
In Payne’s world wanting clean air and safe drinking water makes you anti-Americans. Wanting energy sources that don’t pollute makes you anti-American. And wanting to end racial injustice and police brutality makes you anti-American.
Here’s an article about an American who supports Kaepernick; the Green Beret who told Kap that kneeling was a respectful way to protest:
We all have a right to our opininions and freedom of expression. My opinion is that Kaepernick‘s protest had absolutely NOTHING to do with “offing the pigs” “dissing cops” or that the USA sux. Personally I found this cartoon to be fear mogering, stereotyping and very disrepectful.
