The FCC Fairness Doctrine ended when Ronald Reagan was president. I guarantee there’s no local teevee station in the U.S. that follows that rule without being forced to. This cartoon is at least thirty years out of date.
Philosophical question: How much bigotry should a fair-mind person tolerate? If this person doesn’t tolerate bigotry, then is he/she being a bigot towards the real bigot?

It’s not that simple. The world isn’t all just black and white. Things can be simplified and “dumb-downed” only so far.
