Matthew Gertz at Media Matters (@MattGertz on Twitter) routinely does side by side comparisons of a screenshot from Fox with a subsequent tweet from 45, frequently several times a day.

He is also interesting to follow on Twitter because his handle is so close to the handle of wacko GOP Congressman from Florida, Matt Gaetz (@mattgaetz). The journalist frequently gets mentioned in tweets intended for the Congressman and great hilarity ensues.

But apparently you still can’t slip one into the comics without penalty from some newspapers, because they are suppos Day kid-friendly, even if it is an almost indecipherable note in a comic based on Da Vinci’s sketches. Wiley Miller who does “Non Sequitur” has learned that the hard way.

It is hard to know whether Trump is a great stable genius, as he claims, or just cunning in a few areas, and profoundly ignorant in others. The recent Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) issue is a classic. In international trade, a MOU is the final agreement or “contract”. However, in real estate (where Trump has had some success), a MOU is often used to record an agreement regarding the basic business terms, but it is understood that a final contract will be prepared to reflect those terms.

If Trump was new to international trade, his confusion could be excused. But he has been doing this for 2 years. By now he should have mastered the terminology in an area that is both important to US policy and an area where he claims superior knowledge. His child-like insistence that his Trade Rep and trade partners are all wrong and he is right makes him look stupid or petulant or both.

I interpreted her comment to mean that a slight increase in diameter resulted in a significant increase in volume.

Amazon allows you to choose any one of “Alexa”, “Echo”, “Amazon” or (for the Tekkies) “Computer”.

I’ve heard of iced coffee, but this is extreme.

Although drafted by lawyers, many of these warnings are drafted at the instruction of an insurance company.

One of the more unusual (and interesting) recipes to appear in a GoComics comment. I agree that a reasonable compromise would be to reference the recipe in the comment but then put the recipe itself in a reply.

I expected the head chef to be missing a limb or two.
