And calling the independent, free press “fake news” and “enemies of the people” — reminds me of Hitler and Goebbels calling the press the “Lügenpresse” (“lying press”).
Of course, the MAJORITY of Americans KNOW that Dumb Donnie is LYING THROUGH HIS TEETH with his “Fake News” B.S.! I just hope that they SHOW HIM THEY KNOW by VOTING in November, giving the House and hopefully the Senate to the Democrats, to curtail the growing authoritarian rule by this cheap, tin-plated dictator with delusions of Godhood!
And all the while our “representatives” hide in the bushes. They keep their heads down and campaign for reelection kissing babies and cutting ribbons and avoiding townhalls while Donny destroys our democracy. Time to vote them all out of office and get some new blood. They can’t be worse that what we have to put up with now.
Trump is clearly getting his cues from his good buddy Putin, who controls the press with an iron fist, and assassinates reporters when they become too annoying.
Can hardly wait for Trump’s parade. Our nation’s press got fat and complacent — their discomfort is good for them. They exude the sin of pride… and Trump’s crude criticisms will have a salutary influence on their profession.
