Good morning Vagabonds. We had our rainy day yesterday and it will be continuing into today. They say ending later in the day but I won’t believe it until I see it.

Nothing going on today. Maybe I will catch up on some paperwork, maybe not.

May you all have a day like that except you Jan as you are on the road.I’m glad it’s not me.

    Good morning, Vagabonds.

Arthur, today is our rest day, so we’re not driving except to the nearby Wal-Mart.

No is expected today. Yesterday was dry as well. We’ve got all the wet stuff, including the mat from the back of the car laid out to dry. It was all pretty well saturated.

I have kept all of the stops we have made on this trip as favorites on the weather app on my computer. Looking at it this morning makes me glad we have moved inland. High surf warnings in Maine, flooding in Virginia and hurricane warning in North Carolina. Moving west, the weather alert in Vegas is “Fire weather” which means strong winds and very low humidity (15% at the moment, but it was 7% last night). That I can live with.

We are in a very pretty campground. It’s a well cared for KOA, and has lots of trees everywhere. None of those middle-of-an-open-field type spaces. It will be a nice place to rest today. Outdoors. With no rain. Yesterday when we arrived, Pinto got out and took off up the road with Michael following. After we finished setting up, we took both cats out on their leashes for a long walk. Then later, he managed to open the door while we were outside and they both got out again. Smokey was easy to catch because she still has that kitten fascination to stop and check out everything around her. Pinto went visiting the 5th wheel next door. He was up on their steps communing with their dog through the screen. Even after being out three times, he still sat at the door demanding we open it for him.

Rita, I’m glad your daughter is safe. Be safe, MacPheeters. You are in my prayers.

    Everyone have a blessed day.

    Good morning Vagabonds

A little fog in the valley and it’s lifting up passed us. The forecast says partly cloudy today, high near 80.

Another busy day, righting comments on GoComics, watching TV zzzzzzzzzzz, a slaves life. ;-)

Well, I guess I gotta to it, you folks have a really day.

    Good Showery morning, Vagabonds,

Golly, busy day yesterday watching the firewood being cut from 20 foot logs down to 5 to 6 foot logs, and the guy STACKED them, too! My allergies are going nuts with all that (wonderful) smell of cut wood. We only get fir and pine up here, no hard woods. But I truly love the smell of a pine forest.

As far as the gang in NC, so far they are totally prepped. Most worried about our granddaughter’s apartment in Greenville near the ECU campus. Will she have a place to come back to? Raleigh is about an hour and a half inland, so depending on Flo’s path, they’re still in for some wicked rain and wind.

    xoxo Happy Trails.

    Good morning Vagabonds!

A quiet morning here, it is a cool 74 degrees out but is supposed to get up to 84 today. I like this cooler fall weather!! Well nothing much happening here today. This is my “stay at home” day. ;) This is also family dinner night so my home will be invaded about 4 pm by hungry kids and grandkids. Love family time.

Everyone have a great day. Stay safe and dry.
