I am a former Ohioan who has lived in Missouri since 1977. I have been married since 1980 to a wonderful man. We have two daughters and two grandchildren. I retired in 2007 from Federal Service (7 years in the Army and 27 years as a civilian). I have had the joy of living in Ohio, Alabama, Arizona, Okinawa, and Missouri. I love to bake, crochet, read, and raise flowers.

Not necessarily. My sister and I agreed that the only valuables in the house was mom and dad. The rest was just stuff. When they were gone we each took turns picking five pieces of furniture each and gave the rest away. The same with everything else in the house. The rest went to the church rummage sale. I like to think that they would have been happy with the way we handled it.

May the fourth be with you!

    Good afternoon, Vagabonds.

So far it has been a rainy day with not much going on. I made my weekly trip to Walmart this morning so I would have more time tomorrow to make fresh salsa and guacamole for family dinner. Our high today is only 54. Nothing else is going on.

May you all be doing well today. Have a blessed day.

    Good evening, Vagabonds.

We got up to 82 today. The rains will start in a couple of hours and we will drop back into the 60’s. At least we are having a spring this year. Last year we went straight to a hot summer.

A few years ago I planted some purple columbine in one of my flower beds. It didn’t like where I planted it so it moved to my herb pots. It’s thriving and I need new pots for my herbs. I hope to get everything planted in the next week.

We had our B.A.S.I.C. adult Bible study tonight. Tonight’s video was more interesting and informative than the one from the last series we went thru.

Well, it is now past 10 pm and I am off to bed. May you all have a peaceful evening.

    Good evening, Vagabonds.

It has been a pretty quiet day. Good lesson and sermon this morning. I agree with David, it is nice to get back to normal. However, I live with a germaphobe so I will be wearing a mask until he is comfortable without one.

Weather wise we have had intermittent drizzle all day, just enough to make it miserable and cold. I think our high was only 66.

May you all have a blessed night.

    Good evening, Vagabonds.

We hit 80 today. And next week we will have several days in the 60’s as the winds will be from the northwest. Quiet day.

    Everyone have a blessed evening.

My first December in southern Arizona we had a dusting if snow. All the locals were sliding off the road. And they all gave me dirty looks as I drove down the road without any problems. Their driving skills on snow were so bad it was hazardous to stop to help them. I am originally from northern Ohio, and I started Driver’s Ed in January with knee deep snow.

    Good afternoon, Vagabonds.

A quiet day today. I am still a little worn out from trying to catch up on everything after yesterday’s storm. Other than that, I got nothing. It is 73 (our high), breezy and still cloudy. Oh, the sun is trying to peek through the clouds.

May you all enjoy a blessed and pleasant day.
