Turns out what Hitler called the “Lügenpresse” (“lying press”; German equivalent of “fake news”) isn’t the one lying. All media, no exceptions, are owned by very large corporations or very rich individuals. Print. Broadcast. Cable. Internet. No exceptions.
Despite this conservative bias by these elitists, most of them maintain basic standards of journalistic integrity.
And as a tyrannical bully tries to shut down the Fourth Estate, they are calling him out.
If Rachel Maddow was right, tomorrow there are several hundred local papers that intend to have an editorial about Free Speech. Not one repeated, but all in house.

Trump is quaking in his boots over the real news. All he can do is muddy the waters to make everything suspect. He wouldn’t get away with it, but he has a 30% base who is willing to help him.
Imagine that 1/3 of our great country doesn’t think it is great and is willing to destroy it to prove it isn’t great.
SFCGator first posts that he is unaware of the issue behind this cartoon, then complains about “left wing loons” because some posters insulted him. Then he calls the coordinated RESPONSE to Trump’s vile words about the press an attack.
Then changes the subject to Aretha and Elvis.
My goodness, how could someone be so completely off-target? Why do so many people reply to SFCGator to get the comment to be “featured”?
