While it is likely that Russians may hack in favor of Democrats this time, it’s not necessarily because they want us to win – Lenin forbid! (/s)

It’s because, ultimately, they want us to distrust our institutions entirely, from the voting booth right up to each and every party.

Heaven help us. Heaven knows, Trump isn’t going to.

How the pendulum of history swings! 80 years ago, the Democrats were the party of the KKK and Jim Crow, and the Republicans were the party of anti-Russian tyranny.

Now, on social justice issues, the parties have reversed. Starting with Nixon’s Southern Strategy, and amplified by Reagan’s open embrace of white supremacy (announcing his candidacy at the site where three civil right workers [Chaney, Goodman, and Schwerner] had been assassinated in 1964), all the KKKonfederates that had once been Democrats fled to become RepubliKKKons.

And even though both Nixon and Reagan had been staunchly anti-Russian, now their party has betrayed them to embrace Putin and his takeover of their party and the United States.

And at least one (and likely more) of the participants in this forum, have openly embraced the takeover, have embraced Putin, have surrendered the U.S. flag to the flag of the KKKonfederacy and the Russian hammer and sickle, and have even begun posting comments in Russian.

    The total treason has begun.

It looks like somebody (Stantis) has been using Google Translate to find out “how to say things” in Russian.

A native-speaking Russian would understand what Scott has written, but I doubt that they would say it quite that way.

I’ll credit Scott for the effort, though. It’s Google Translate which is imperfect.
