Mmmmm. Bear hug. Trump promotes the interests of Russia, is building trade relations with our long-time adversaries (North Korea and Russia, and China only after they bribed him with investments in his companies [emoluments]), and alienating the United States from its long-time closest allies (Canada, Mexico, Europe), both economically and strategically, and now undermining logistical and strategic support for long-time strong allies Japan and South Korea for photo ops and empty words with an untrustworthy, murderous dictator who lies almost as much as Trump himself.

Trump, dancing to Putin’s puppet strings, apparently wants to blow up NATO and replace it with CRANKChina, Russia, America, North Korea.

First: no collusion (repeated ad nauseum), even though no one but the most gullible, stupid suckers believes it). Now all of a sudden, when massive troves of evidence prove TRUMP WAS LYING, now all of a sudden “OK, collusion, but collusion is not a crime and, anyway, Don Jr did it” [throw his own son under the bus].

Does Comrade TRUMPski McBonespurs really think everyone else is as gullible and stupid as his own base of racist suckers and scam victims?

Was it Russian then a Democrat or Russian than a Democrat? If it was Russian then a Democrat, fine. If it was Russian than a Democrat, not so much. Although the Russian trolls have poor English skills so I doubt that they want to be Democrats.

Wilbur Ross could be “among the biggest grifters in American history,” according to Forbes magazine, amid new allegations that he may have wrongly siphoned off more than $120 million from business associates.

An investigation, citing 21 people who have worked with the man who is now President Trump’s commerce secretary, claims Ross stole “a few million here and a few million there” from various companies. Forbes reports: “All told, these allegations—which sparked lawsuits, reimbursements, and a Securities and Exchange Commission fine—come to more than $120 million.”

Ross’ former colleagues offer very unkind words about him. “He’ll push the edge of truthfulness and use whatever power he has to grab assets,” said New York financier Asher Edelman, while another of Ross’ former colleagues said: “He’s a pathological liar.” They say he is obsessed with money, with two former colleagues recounting that he took handfuls of Sweet’ N Low packets from a restaurant near his office, so he didn’t have to go out and buy some for himself.

    Conspiracy will do just fine:

    http://www.latimes.com/opinion/op-ed/la-oe-litman-lieberman-trump-tower-meeting-conspiracy-20180806-story.html

Under the “defraud clause,” as precedent and the U.S. Attorneys’ Manual make clear, the statute criminalizes “any conspiracy for the purpose of impairing, obstructing or defeating the lawful function of any department of government,” even if the object of the conspiracy is not a criminal offense.

    ….

The Trump Tower meeting clearly fits established definitions of “conspiracy to defraud the United States.” In early June, Trump Jr. received an email explaining that a Russian government official wanted to provide his father’s campaign with incriminating documents and information about Clinton as part of “Russia and its government’s support for Mr. Trump." Trump Jr. replied, "if it’s what you say I love it especially later in the summer.” The June 9 meeting was confirmed two days earlier, on June 7. That night, Trump announced that he would “give a major speech” in the next week to discuss “all of the things that have taken place with the Clintons.”

On the face of it, Trump Jr. was approached by a foreign government seeking to influence an American election. Trump Jr. welcomed the possibility of influence, and candidate Trump’s actions, while circumstantial, indicate that he intended to make use of that information. It is irrelevant, in conspiracy law, that Trump Jr. found the information ultimately worthless, or as Trump said, that “it went nowhere.”
