The death penalty should be allowed. It has to be used judiciously and infrequently. And the bar for its application has to be very, very high. I don’t often see it applied in that manner.

Good thing I’m an atheist. We need to overturn some of the ridiculous SCOTUS decisions or pass an Amendment codifying the limits and allowed use.

We now live in a land where a child rapist who nearly killed his 8 year old victim and left her profoundly injured for life had his DP sentence overturned because she didn’t die. See Kennedy v. Louisiana.

How can it be “cruel and unusual” to put such a man to death by injection or firing squad or electric chair? All approved methods.
