Indeed. I know Marmaduke believes that it’s always easier to ask forgiveness than permission, but Phil has a point. Not checking to see if it’s OK for Marm to invite his friends is both rude and unfair, not just to Phil, but also to Marm’s friends whom he invited if there ISN’T enough food to go around!
Phil barely has enough to feed Marmaduke (and we know what an appetite HE has) and he invited friends? Hope they are satisfied with a bite (treat) each!
A Dane would never invite friends. They eat too much themselves. My Dane tries to eat all my Weims food and all my parents Dane’s food too. He would never ask more dog to come over to eat.
