    Secondary distribution cables are typically run at 400 to 440 volts, amperage varying but rarely below 15. Primary distribution cables run at 9 (rare, nowadays) or 12 or 13.8 or 15 or 24 thousand volts, amperage of up to 50. If he got zapped by a secondary line, he’d be dead. P (power) = I (current) times V (voltage), so we’re talking 6 kilowatt for the secondary line and up to 1.2 megawatt for the primary. If he got zapped by a primary line, he’d be vapor. And charred feathers, Transmission lines start at around 69 thousand volts and head up to 735 thousand and more, typically at 100 to 200 amps. There wouldn’t even be the charred feathers left.
