There’s this songbird that starts singing at around 12am-1am every morning outside my window. And I do like to sleep with my windows open to let in the cool night breeze. No there are no streetlights where I live. There seems to be no real lure for this bird to do so.
Back to the birds singing. We have a bird that starts to sing around 5:30 in the morning near my window. If I happen to be awake for some reason I hear it, otherwise I don’t. I think it’s a mockingbird.

I love the birdsong in the summer. I don’t care what their reason for it, I just enjoy it.

One is nice, three hundred is just noise.
