You know, for all of Rodney’s ineptitude, he MUST get one right occasionally, else Id would have been overrun by the Huns and Vikings long ago. Unless they’re being led by Hagar….

“What tipped the king off?” I would go by the last panel before he says “That’s enough!” Grabbing a spear in mid air. It would seem that everything else in the account passed inspection. (Or maybe not.)

It was the bush and oddly shaped rock in the middle of the battlefield. If he had just left them out, everything else was completely believable.
