Yeah, I do remember as a kid aluminum cans being a lot tougher to crush one handed. And it wasn’t as simple as I was just a kid ad not that strong, they don’t make them like they used to. Not as thick walled.
There was some commercial years ago showing a bunch of guys in a bar crushing beer cans on their foreheads and getting all macho about it. Then this one skinny guy tried to crush one on his head. He never made a sound…just fell over backwards and passed out.

I remember when cans were steel instead of aluminum and in 8th grade, I wasn’t that strong.
