Meryl Streep is a very poor actress in my opinion. I think she was trained to be a stage actress because evertime I see her in a movie, she seems to be aware of where the camera is. Like playing to the audience. Not once have I see her where I didn’t get that impression.
There oughtta be a law!! (Unless it would have stopped Jeff Bridges from showing the world how one really plays Rooster Cogburn……) (Though I guess a law against “The Rock” in any movie would do the trick)
I’m with Missy on BTiLC. I think those who like it saw it when it was new, when the parody elements were clearer and the political incorrectness was more forgivable.
