Is Scott Stantis trying to make a CONnection between recycling, environmentalism, accepting the science of climate change (virtually 100% of all scientists not funded by energy interests) and (huh?) not eating meat with … drum roll … marxism?

Quick, we need to find out what was in the “gray water” or “tofu” Stantis has been smoking.

(Scott, you’re not supposed to smoke it.)

Marxist Monopoly would be easy but boring. The government IS the monopoly. They win.

Well, “The Landlord’s Game” (the original game Monopoly is based on) was intended to promote Henry George’s economic theories, including how rent-seekers exploit workers. More socialism than Marxism, but I doubt Scott could tell the difference.

Actually, Monopoly was invented to demonstrate that land ownership always leads to massive income inequality. It was invented by a lady named Lizzie Magie. She was a Henry Georgeist. Most people would call her a socialist, and the game was an activist tool to show that political and economic point.

It just occurred to me that it shows how messed up our own economic compass is. We think it’s about capitalism – Carmen certainly does – when it’s actually about monopolies. We’ve actually come to think they’re the same thing.

They have a Monopoly set for everything! Including specific cities and regions. Ultimate market utilization.

Gray water is used extensively on ‘dry islands’ in the Caribbean where rainwater caught and stored during the wet season is all you get. Not for washing clothes of course but for flushing toilets and watering plants. Not only for liberals but for anyone who can afford to install the system. Stretching the rainwater means not having to buy the dread ‘potable water’.

Indeed. As referred to in the song “Smoke on the Water” by Zeke Clements (recorded by Red Foley, also Bob Wills), or the song of the same name by Deep Purple?
