at least I have a physical address book with some phone numbers… I just ask someone online for another someone’s phone number (like an uncle’s number by asking his daughters-in-law)
When I first got my cell phone4, I didn’t realize I could just click on the number to call somebody. I kept a pad of paper in the car to jot it down so I could punch it in. Memories such as that keep me humble.
If you have a few hundred telephone numbers collected over a long period of time, it’s nasty spending the time to enter them in your cell phone. So many of mine are for people who have done work on my house or relatives of friends, etc. Not called that often. Love a paper backup, and even have paper backup for stuff on my computer (as computers fail often).
