Senator Merkley tried to visit two immigrant processing centers. One would not admit him, the other would not allow photographs, but his description of the place is chilling. We are disgraced by these policies and are fouling our image in the world possibly irretrievably.
Thankfully the ACLU lawsuit over family separations at the border is proceeding with the support of federal judges. The godless Trump administration needs to be held accountable for human rights crimes. Extreme cruelty separating babies and children from their immigrant parents seeking asylum from violence is a crime supported by the GOP and Trump! DDags statements regarding President Obama are bald faced lies! The previous administration did not separate children from parents, they placed unaccompanied minors with foster care.
If course it’s wrong to put children in cages, etc. and to separate them from their parents. But is it wrong to also feel for animals who are mistreated? There must be room in our hearts for both!
I was just thinking….if we get rid of all the old retired men and women…maybe send them to Canada….we could bring in those young ones. And put them to work in our factories. Comments?

I suggest you all read the follow up at WaPo. They gave Merkely 3 Pinocchios. When one of the leading left wing propaganda outlets give a liberal Dem Senator 3 out of a possible 4 Pinocchios, well, I’ll leave it to you to explain why this story is just another bit of liberal BS.
