Probably, now, the best new technology to look forward to is going to be Hazmat habitat domes. People are going to need places to live that have an atmosphere that is breathable. Water that is drinkable. Food that safe to eat…. We are looking at a future that has so much polluted air that we will not be able to go outside without a gas mask and possibly have to live with those gas masks inside as well. I’ve seen pictures of people in other countries with very high smog pollution index who need to wear gas masks just to go about their daily tasks. That is where we are headed… Women won’t have to buy makeup because they’ll be wearing a gas mask… But men will still have to shave because the gas masks would irritate the hair follicles on their face if they have a beard….. But the very very rich will get to live inside of clean luxurious habitat domes…. The rest of us will be out there grubbing for a living in a dysfunctional future that does not include clean water or clean air or food that safe to eat. What??? did you think the e-coli contamination of romaine lettuce was going to stop.?….. with just e-coli and salmonella contaminations of only a few items of food.??? Over 2 million eggs recalled this year because of salmonella….. In the last 2 years, romaine lettuce has been on a restricted list because of E coli at least three times that I can think of. The list of foods that you should not eat because of the chemicals used to kill weeds cannot be removed from those foods by simple washing of their outer surfaces. So who is going to profits from living in Hazmat domes? It won’t be the poor or the middle class because we won’t be able to afford that particular living Style. And guess who we are going to thank for our grubbing in the mud unable to breathe, starving to death, and dying of thirst, or perhaps simply dying from being poisoned? Trump and Scott Pruitt, that’s who!!!!!!!!
Since the beginning greening of Antarctica is happening now in 20 – 50 years it will be above zero. They might want to build their luxurious Arcologies there if not in space as in the film “Elysium” by Blomquist. Which showed a AGW Earth with the workers living down there and the rich live in the space habitats. Going down only rarely. And the medical wonders of the 22nd century kept from them.
