On Christmas mornings, our rule is that the girls can wake me up if Dad is already up. Unfortunately, he works 3rd shift, so on the nights when he’s home he tends to wake up as early as 2:30 or 3. This past Christmas he was up at 2; so were they. THIS Christmas I’m adapting the rule that it can’t be earlier than 4.

Exactly what I did when I was little…they put me to bed at 7:00, I was up at 5:00….Duh!!
