What’s the point that you are making Jeff, I didn’t get it. Are you suggesting that that Israeli society is becoming more secular and moving away from the faith, while the state is left alone ( like the fiddler on the roof ) with the defence forces ? Or is it something else ?
There are no saints in the middle east conflicts and very few real villains. Crude political cartoons that associate racial stereotypes with thug imagery display a puzzling lack of intellect, imagination, and value.
In other words, WTF?! That’s dumb and offensive. You owe your readers an apology.
The dead have died for nothing. Israel, through overreach, has placed itself in a morally indefensible noose, policing the lives of others. Palestinian leaders have borne out Yeats’ lines: “We had fed the heart on fantasies, the heart’s grown brutal from the fare.”
The history of the IDF is rooted in the Zionist terrorist organizations like LESCHI and ETSEL, who murdered British Children and soldiers, “inventing” the terrorst techniques blamed on many other groups, like bicycle bombs and booby-trapping bodies of their victims. The radical right in Israel who support Netanyahu, are still the same brutal folks at heart, and it all goes back to Old Testament law and methods, like stoning a child to death who disobeys a father’s command. Islam also took on some, but not all, of those violent and oppresive “laws” of Moses.

Israel shot a couple dozen protesters dead, no outrage, nothing.

Tevya said that they were like a fiddler on a roof — a tenuous position but he keeps on keeping on. ‘cept now, he’s got ammo. sigh.

Zionist Israel, the ungodly magician that has rendered the lord god creator of all things unto the obscene idol of bloody stolen land.
