Sometimes it’s not worth fixing. I had a Sunbeam toaster that was my parents’, and it was over 50 years old but had a unique feature that I liked. I brought it back to life several times, but after I deemed it to be beyond help I bought a new Kitchen Aid electronic toaster that I like much better.
