This looks like fun!

You go, ROVER!

Very clever, Rover my little darling!

Ah, the tether that binds!

Rover just wants to play too!

It’s like the question you ask the dog who chases cars: And WHAT, exactly, are you going to do with it once you CATCH it???

Weeeeeeeee!

If it is a ball, then there will be Rover to go after it.

I had a tether-ball when I was a kid. My Dalmatian loved to play with it, often times by herself, and on occasion, she would beat me!

The original form used paddles and a tennis ball in a net bag. Four feet above the ground at rest, a large dog could catch the ball.

I don’t think that weighted base on the pole is large enough to keep it upright with a big dog like Rover swinging around on the rope.
