    I had a tether-ball when I was a kid. My Dalmatian loved to play with it, often times by herself, and on occasion, she would beat me!

    The original form used paddles and a tennis ball in a net bag. Four feet above the ground at rest, a large dog could catch the ball.

    I don’t think that weighted base on the pole is large enough to keep it upright with a big dog like Rover swinging around on the rope.
