    Ah yes, back when one did not carry a smart phone. I did not until July of last year. All of 66 years before I caved. That and the fact that ATT is doing its utmost to get rid of land lines. At least with a cell I can block every number that turns out to be another salesman.

    I do 1770s reenacting. I have a ring tone that is period music to switch to at events in case I get a call there, as the unit phone number forwards to my phone and we might get a call for directions, someone can’t come etc. so I can’t switch it off at events.
