That’s funny. Most people try to forget that Batman movie.

So a rain forest that rain can’t fall on because it is contained. I’d call it a big a$$ terrarium. The a$$ is for emphasis; meaning bigger than your usual terrariums.

Long ankles are for the birds.

He pays them to keep it? Or he pays them to let him keep it? Ripley is having as much trouble with English as Arnold is, apparently.

So flamingos have huge feet and walk on their toes?

Some 40 years ago, RBION had a drawing of a man and and ostrich doing deep knee bends. They mistakenly said the ostrich knees bent the opposite way of a human’s. Today, they got it right.

The flamingo’s knee is located much further up the limb, hidden underneath its feathers. The whole area from the ankle to the toes is actually a giant foot. The joint that looks like an ankle, right down the bottom, is actually the beginnings of the toes.

If you really want a good Ripley’s Believe it or Not, how about, “Arnold Schwarzenegger holds the record of being seen naked by more people than all of the other United States governors combined.”
