I knew of a small company in CA, 30 years ago. The boss treated the employees good, new many of them, and a couple of times a year would stand on the walkway above the production lines and tell his employees, on a Friday about noon, surf’s up, I’m leaving, everybody go home with pay. The employees always worked hard for him and if they had a problem they told him and he would try to fix it.
