Have you ever thought that mouth breathers might have sinus allergies & just need air? Fight hate where ever you find it.
quick calculation: hmm, do I piss off my base and lose the primary, or risk being labeled a bigot and lose the general election? I opt for the latter, because I can blame my loss on illegal voters and my base will swallow it.
