There is a time and place for no socks and that would be with sandals. Never wear socks with sandals. It is beyond barbaric.
The rest of the time there are stripey socks, penguin socks, polka dot socks, shamrock socks, heart socks and socks with avocados on them. Argyle is a daring start into the wild crazy world of sock aficionados. Spud there are even socks that have cheese on them.
So young and yes so smart…several items of everyday wear disappeared from my wardrobe upon retirement. Ties, dress shirts and socks among them. Boat shoes or running shoes w/o socks are my standard. Bare feet are even more acceptable.
