Rest in peace Mr. Walker. Beetle Bailey was always one of my favorite comic strips. You have left behind a wonderful Legacy. You will be missed!!

He founded the National Cartoon Museum too, which unfortunately was not able to keep going on its own, but has now been moved to OSU. I saw it when it was in Boca Raton, FL, and it was great for any cartoon junkies like myself (and probably most of the people who bother to post here)!

I have read Beetle Bailey from the first day I picked up the daily comics—probably 61 – 62 years ago. Condolences to Mr. Walker’s family and all of Beetle’s (and Sarge’s, Zero’s, Killer’s, Plato’s, Fuzz’s, Halftrack’s whew and more my senior moment is leaving out for now) fans.
